IT WAS GOOD

The 2nd episode of White Collar was good. I do have a question to ponder. Why does the boss (ultimate authorities) in all of these kind of shows have to be intolerant, abrasive and think they are smarter than the underlings and especially the main character who they see as sub human? Examples would be The Mentalist, all of the CSI shows including NCIS, all of the Law and Order shows, and on and on. This year the superiors in Monk are viewing him as the best detective ever, but why not, they are ending the show with this season.

I think this kind of reasoning influences our society into thinking that anyone who is somewhere in an authoritative role in their lives has got to be against them. MAYBE IT IS JUST ME!

Great New Show!

There is a great new tv show out, at least so far I really like it. Funny how it could be new where I am and not where you are, but the name is White Collar staring Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay. It airs in my area on Friday nights on USA Network. The premise is a professional art thief who was caught by an FBI agent and jailed, finds out the love of his life is not going to wait for him to get out. He breaks out so he CAN get caught again by the same FBI agent in order to make a deal for a release (mainly to look for his lady). The deal is to help the FBI catch other art thieves!

It is clever, has good acting so far, and the potential to be long term; that is if they don't make it the same basic story every time as so many potentially good shows have in the last several years.
